AI Scribe and AI Agent for eClinicalWorks

If your practice opens eClinicalWorks in Chrome, DociPal can work right beside it. Record the visit, approve a structured note in your template, then let the agent fill the progress note and the forms that follow, asking before anything is saved.

Beyond the note in eClinicalWorks

eClinicalWorks is used in more than one way: some practices open it in the browser, others use a desktop client. DociPal works in Chrome, so it supports eCW wherever your practice uses it in the browser. The note itself works either way: you can always record the visit and copy your approved note from DociPal into any version of eCW.

Progress note in eCW

Places each section of your approved note into the eClinicalWorks progress note, following the structure on screen.

Structured details

Fills the details from the visit into the fields in front of you, so the chart is complete and not just narrated.

Referrals and payer sites

Starts referrals and completes prior authorization on payer portals in another tab, then records the result in the chart.

Forms from the visit

Completes fillable forms and PDFs from the visit data for you to review.

eClinicalWorks questions

Does DociPal work with the eClinicalWorks desktop client?

The DociPal agent works in Chrome, so it can fill eClinicalWorks pages when your practice uses eCW in the browser. With a desktop client, you can still record the visit and copy the approved note from DociPal, but the agent cannot click through the desktop app.

Do I need an eClinicalWorks integration?

No. DociPal does not connect to eClinicalWorks through an API. It works on the page you have open in Chrome, while you are signed in, and only when you ask it to.

Will it save or sign anything in eCW on its own?

No. It shows each step as it works and stops to ask before anything is saved, submitted or signed. You remain the author of the chart.
